Some responsibilities of workers are to identify hazards in the workplace and then report them as soon as possible to the PCBU's.  Workers and PCBU's ( persons conducting a business or undertaking of ) also need to discuss how to make work safe in a health and safety committee meetings.
Some committee meetings include:

- Monitoring safety practices like the procedure for reporting hazards and accidents or inspecting machinery.

- Being aware of specific health and safety problems (taking walk-around inspections,

   considering hazard or accident reports).

- Identifying workplace hazards.

- Working out safe job procedures and monitoring their effectiveness.

-Organising workplace training  about health and safety.

- Proving ways to sole disagreements or problems.


WORKERS AND PCBU'S RESPONSIBILITIES 


It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that they comply with the orginisations requirements and do everything possible to reflect a positive, professional image.

Attendance and punctuality. During your induction you will be advised of the company's normal office hours and days if operation. You are required to arrive on time to work according to these hours. The company is paying you for time and they have every right to expect your attendance during the hours they have set out.

Confidentiality and privacy. Information about what the company is doing, what its policies are and who customers are is considered confidential and should not be discussed outside the company.

Health and safety regulations.  Employee's have the right to work in a safe and healthy environment. You, however have a responsibility to keep your work environment safe and free from hazards.

- keep your area tidy and free of clutter
- ensure your work ear is set up properly
- report any hazards you are aware of
